What We Ate
DIPS!
Who doesn't love a good dip? We certainly do! Using our chips to stab through different layers of flavor and texture! What's not to love!
We did 2 different ones, 1 hot, 1 cold.
Buffalo Chicken
7 Layer
Buffalo Chicken Dip
Spicy, creamy and delicious. A classic dip that can be served hot or chilled. It's up to you.
8oz cream cheese
½ cup ranch
½ cup blue cheese dressing
1 cup hot sauce (we like Franks Red Hot)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups shredded chicken (using a rotisserie chicken and shred it for convenience)
Add everything to a crock pot and warm over medium heat.
As everything starts to soften, mix well.

7 Layer Dip
Your Classic 7 Layer dip is all good here! Who doesn't love discovering layer after layer!!
Don't over complicate it! Put it what you like, leave out what you don't. I come on, are you game mates really going to count the layers?
What We Drank
Strawberry Jalapeño Margarita
- 1 cup ripe strawberries, green tops removed
- ½ inch Jalapeño pepper
- 2 limes, juiced
- 2 teaspoons agave nectar
- 4 ounces silver tequila
- Sparkling water to top
- Combine the strawberries and jalapeño pepper in a small blender and blend until smooth. Strain if you prefer but I’m lazy and usually don't bother. Pour the contents of the blender in a shaker.
- Add the lime juice, agave nectar and tequila and a handful of ice. Secure the lid on the shaker and shake for 30-60 seconds to mix and chill the margarita
- Strain the juice out and serve over ice with a splash of sparkling water
